HappyOrNot (http://www.happy-or-not.com/), the company responsible for creating the globally-recognisable ‘Smiley’ feedback system, has just published its inaugural Airport Report based on 158 million data-points from HappyOrNot smiley terminals in 160 airports across 36 countries. And it shows that passengers travelling through Exeter Airport are the happiest in the world, with a score of 88.66% compared to an average across all airports of 76.52%. Its report claims that the happiest airports globally after Exeter are Cork in Ireland and Rome's Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, which tied for second place with 88.45%, followed by Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (87.35%); UK airports Newcastle (87.05%), London Southend (86.79%) and Cardiff Airport (86.57%); and Keflavik in Iceland (86.35%).
