ANA adds three unique A380 trips in September 2021

All Nippon Airways is offering two-night staycation trips with its Flying Honus. ANA will operate these special Airbus A380 flights in September 2021.

The Japanese carrier is offering a new initiative involving its Airbus A380s. Japanese travelers are invited on a short, two-night, trip to which they will be carried by ANA’s Flying Honu. Both flights will commence from the Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT). From there, one trip will head to New Chitose Airport (CTS) and the other to Okinawa Naha Airport (OKA).

The price of a ticket varies depending upon the class of travel, route selection, and accommodation. The lowest price is set at ¥76,800 (USD 697.52), including an economy aisle seat and shared accommodation with three people in Okinawa. A customer with a first-class ticket to New Chitose Airport (CTS) would be expected to pay ¥348,000 (USD 3,160.62).

The Airbus A380, after landing at New Chitose Airport (CTS), will not get the opportunity to relax and recuperate like its passengers. ANA has taken the opportunity to conduct a third event in the month. On September 19, 2021, the A380 will depart the New Chitose Airport (CTS) for a "flight to nowhere".

This flight to nowhere will allow people to travel without leaving home. According to the airline, the aircraft will depart at 13:00 and will fly around Japan for about an hour and a half roughly before landing back to the originating airport.

The flight booking is happening through a lottery system where the minimum number of participants required are 250 as stated by the airline on their website.
